General & Policies

Technical & Safety

  • Yes. We follow a progressive cleaning philosophy, always prioritising the gentlest effective method first.

Our standard approach utilises high-performance, biodegradable solutions designed to respect the wider environment. We reserve stronger, professional-grade treatments for surfaces where deep-seated contamination requires a more restorative approach. Crucially, we never escalate to these intensive methods without your prior knowledge and agreement.

  • Safety is assured through the expertise of our technicians. We implement a rigorous protective saturation protocol, flooding nearby planting with fresh water before and after treatment to neutralise any runoff.

Regarding pets, we advise they remain indoors during the active phase of the clean. However, once the surfaces are fully dry, the area is completely safe for them to return to.

  • We tailor the clearance process to your specific requirements. We advocate for a sustainable approach, utilising your on-site green waste bins or compost for organic matter—an efficient and ecological solution.

However, should you prefer a complete "clean slate," we are fully licensed waste carriers. We can arrange the secure removal and legal disposal of all debris. generated during the clean.

  • Our fleet is designed for operational autonomy, meaning we typically do not require access to your domestic power supply.

The only exception arises during specialised commercial projects—specifically where auxiliary lighting is required for out-of-hours execution. Should your project fall into this category, the requirement for a standard power connection will be identified and agreed upon during the consultation phase.

  • Since our restorative processes are inherently water-based, light precipitation typically does not impede our progress.

However, we are governed by strict standards regarding finish quality and safety. Should your project involve sealants requiring dry curing conditions, or if high winds pose a risk to elevated access, we may pause operations. In such instances, to ensure the integrity of the result, your project is accorded priority status and rescheduled for the very first available opportunity.

Residential Cleaning

  • The suitability of pressure washing is dictated entirely by the composition of your tile. We do not believe in a generic approach; instead, we diagnose the roof type to select the safest methodology.

    • For Delicate Substrates: On fragile clay, slate, or granular-coated tiles, we avoid high pressure to preserve the protective finish. Instead, we utilise gentler, restorative techniques such as Steam Cleaning, Manual Moss Removal, or Soft Washing.

    • For Robust Substrates: Where the density of the material (such as certain concrete profiles) allows, precision pressure washing remains a highly effective and safe method for deep cleaning.

Rest assured, our primary objective is always the preservation of the roof's structural integrity.

  • Typically, you can anticipate a maintenance cycle of three to five years. While local environmental factors—such as the proximity of overhanging tree canopies—can influence this, our restorative process offers significantly greater longevity than a superficial rinse.

By applying a specialised biocide, we eliminate fungal spores at the root system. This imparts a "secondary activation" quality to the surface; essentially, the treatment continues to work in harmony with the weather, helping to cleanse the tiles and repel organic regrowth for months post-treatment.

  • The efficacy of oil removal is heavily dependent on the speed of intervention.

For fresh spills, immediate remediation often achieves complete extraction. However, on aged stains—particularly within porous substrates where the contaminant has migrated deep into the stone—total eradication cannot always be guaranteed. In such instances, our professional treatments focus on significant visual mitigation, vastly improving the surface aesthetic even if the shadow of the stain cannot be entirely dissolved.

  • We strongly advocate for sealing as a measure of long-term preservation. While not strictly mandatory, the application of a high-quality sealant serves a critical dual purpose.

Firstly, it stabilises the jointing compound, significantly inhibiting the return of weed growth between the blocks. Secondly, it creates a resilient barrier against UV degradation and oil ingress. This protective layer not only extends the lifespan of the restoration but ensures that future maintenance is effortless.

  • This is a natural phenomenon known as Efflorescence. It presents as a fine, white powdery residue caused by inherent mineral salts migrating to the surface of the brick or stone as moisture evaporates.

Please be assured, this is purely cosmetic and does not indicate structural damage. While it will naturally dissipate over time through weathering, we can apply specialised treatments to accelerate its removal if required.

  • Our operational reach extends to approximately 40 feet, which is sufficient for most three to four-storey properties.

We utilise a high-velocity vacuum extraction system, operated safely from ground level to eliminate the risks associated with ladder work. To guarantee an immaculate result, we employ wireless camera inspection technology, allowing us to verify—and demonstrate—that the guttering is entirely free of obstruction.

Commercial & Specialist Services

  • Absolutely. For commercial and industrial projects, we operate with strict regulatory diligence. Prior to the commencement of any works, we supply a comprehensive compliance pack. This includes site-specific Risk Assessments, detailed Method Statements, and full COSHH assessments (including Safety Data Sheets) for all processes and chemicals used. We ensure that our presence on your site adheres to the highest standards of health and safety governance.

  • Yes. We understand that operational continuity is paramount for your business. We offer a fully flexible scheduling service, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts, to ensure our restoration work does not impede your trading hours, staff movements, or customer experience. We aim to provide an "invisible" service where the only evidence of our visit is a pristine environment.

  • Do you offer ongoing maintenance contracts? Yes. We strongly advocate for a proactive maintenance strategy over reactive cleaning. We can design a bespoke service interval—whether quarterly, bi-annually, or annually—tailored to your site’s specific exposure and footfall. This approach ensures your premises consistently reflect your brand standards and prevents the accumulation of deep-seated grime, often proving more cost-effective than sporadic, intensive restoration.

  • How do you manage access for high-level commercial cleaning? We manage the entire logistics of high-level access. Our team is fully accredited (IPAF and PASMA certified) to operate powered access machinery, including cherry pickers and scissor lifts. For complex sites, we conduct a pre-project Access Audit to determine the safest and most efficient elevation method, ensuring we can reach difficult architecture without compromising site safety.

  • We hold a comprehensive commercial insurance package.

This includes substantial Public Liability and Employers' Liability insurance, and Treatment Risk coverage that can be adjusted to suit any special project needs. We are happy to provide our verification of insurance documents alongside your initial proposal for your peace of mind.

  • Yes. We’ll build a rotation with consistent standards across each of your properties, with individual and portolio level reports.
